Offline for a short time.

I'm on a search for greener pastures, warmer climes, and a little less rain. Actually ... make that a LOT LESS rain!
Somewhere that doesn't have overcast skies and monsoon rain storms most of the year, somewhere that doesn't me feel like I'm existing in Blade Runner world!

I miss the panoramic view from Salerno, and kicking it along the coast of Amalfi.

I wonder if either the islands of Procida, Capri, or Ischia are for sale.

I can hope.

Catching up!

I’m back from my vacation, looking at the pile of work in front of me, with the feeling like I need another one. Anyone who’s familiar with the feeling that they are NOT happy to be back to the grind will know what I’m talking about. To say that I’m snowed under with work right now is an understatement.

My emails alone are almost up to 4 figures.

During my time away, I got some research done, but not all of it. Now I’m putting my notes together in (dis)order so that I can type them up. I watched Adaptation (2002) yesterday and I know how Nic Cage felt in that movie!

On vacation ...

I’m taking a much-needed vacation …

gone to see some sights ...

on hiatus ... taking a working sabbatical ...

holiday ... I’ve gone fishing ...

I’m out to lunch ... make that a very long lunch! ... lasting 8 weeks. In addition, I’ll be clearing some work on my pending writing projects, along with some research on a new one.

If I find an island off the coast of Italy, I'm claiming it for myself ... well, make that almost deserted.

I’ll catch up with everyone again in early November.
